Moonshot Goal1 : Realization of a society in which human beings can be free from limitations of body, brain, space, and time by 2050.

Stochastic Telecontrol Communication Techniques in a Difficult Location to Communicate

Outline

There is a need for highly reliable remote control communication technology even in "difficult communication environments" such as inside the body, underwater, and underwater, where it is difficult for humans to see and the shielding effect of radio waves is large.

Conventional remote control assumes constant connection, but we will study a new communication method that takes into account the possibility of communication interruption. We will model the positional relationship between the CA and the transmitter / receiver and the probability of communication establishment, and ensure reliability by establishing communication stochastically even if communication is interrupted.

In the future, we aim to shift from "communications that should not be interrupted" to "communications that can be interrupted."

In order to maintain remote control of cybernetic avatars (CAs), we will develop smart spot cells (SSC) using local 5G and technology to optimize service areas according to communication conditions and CA conditions. We will develop a function that links the communication performance requirements according to the operation content of the CA and the service level that can be provided, an area map, a function that links with a database (DB), and a terminal that implements that function. We will develop technology that smoothly switches the connection destination between public 5G/4G and Wi-Fi and local 5G when moving between areas covered by SSC.
